Let’s Go On a Bird Walk!

Help beginning birders discover the wonder and awe of birds by taking them outside on a bird walk! Equipped with 6 high quality binoculars that are easy to use and perfect for beginners, this kit has everything you need to engage a group of young (and old) learners and teach them the basics of bird identification, adaptations, calls/songs, and more! Included in the kit are:

  • 6 binoculars and a spotting scope
  • An easy-to-follow script so anyone (even someone without birding experience) can lead the activity
  • A variety of field guides to help the group identify what they are seeing
  • Optional add-ons to the kit include (at no additional charge):
  • Birds of Washington lists (ok to keep)
  • Field Notes student activity booklets (ok to keep)
  • Activity Packet with Lesson Materials
    • Tweety Tag
    • Calling All Birds
    • Eagle Eyes
    • Set of 24 Bird ID and information cards
  • Bird Skin Specimens (up to 10 bird species of your choice)
  • Additional Binoculars (up to 6)

Pricing: $45 per week, $10 for each additional week (3 week maximum)
